The Tooth Fairy," also known as Derek Thompson (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), is a hard-
charging hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from
their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's dreams, he's sentenced to one week's hard
labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek
"can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through
strangers' homes-doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he
begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

Paraplegic Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) decides to join a mission on the distant world
of Pandora. There he learns of the human’s intentions of driving off the native humanoid "Na'vi"
in order to mine for the precious material scattered throughout their rich woodland. In exchange
for the spinal surgery that will fix his legs, Jake gathers intel for the cooperating military unit,
while simultaneously attempting to infiltrate the Na'vi people with the use of an "avatar" identity.
While Jake begins to bond with the native tribe he is forced to take a stand - and fight back in
an epic battle for the fate of Pandora.
